Teniente Gimo

There was a popular urban legend dating back from the 1960's about an entire barrio(neighborhood or town) of 'aswangs'--the classic Filipino vampire that can shape-shift having an acquired taste for human flesh, a contemporary of the native American wendigo or skinwalker or the Romanian strigoi. It is said they were led by a local official by the name of Teniente Gimo from Dueñas, Iloilo.
